Plot: Frasier is doing his show when a caller calls in saying he's lost. Frasier recognises him as his old friend Woody from Cheers!!! Frasier and Woody, who's in Seattle to attend a wedding, agree to meet up that night for a drink.
The two have a great night reminiscing, but the next night after Frasier comes home from seeing Woody, he tells Martin that he had to listen through the same stories again and again. He doesn't want to hurt Woody's feeling though by telling him that he doesn't want to see him as often.
Next night Frasier decides to take Woody to Karaoke, and asks Roz to come too. She cancels though when Gil and Noel invite themselves along. That night, Woody tells Frasier he has to go home as his little girl is sick.
To celebrate his new "freedom", Frasier takes Niles to a restaurant - where they meet Woody!!! Frasier realises Woody lied to him, but why? The two have a talk.....
Subtitles: The Long Goodbye; Captain's Log, Stardate 3012.4 Mr. Spock Informs Me There Is No Klingon Word For "Feel".
Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Woody, the bartender at Cheers, makes a reappearance for his cousin's wedding. His wife Kelly and their kids couldn't make it but send their love. When talking about the Cheers years, Woody tells Frasier that Cliff Clavin almost married a mail-order bride. He also remembers the time that they put a ferret in Cliff's post bag. Sam and Carla are "doing great", and there's a mention of
Lilith as well. Woody also mentions his father, who was often mentioned on Cheers, and Kelly's mother, who before Woody's wedding tried to flirt with him!!!Trivia: It seems that Woody knew that Martin was alive and that Niles existed, unlike Sam Malone when he visited Seattle (Ep
40 "The Show Where Sam Shows Up"). Since their mention in that episode, Woody and Kelly have had a little girl. Gil and Noel make a reappearance - Gil has a locker at the Karaoke bar on Pike Street with a microphone and show stuff inside. And here's what everyone sang:Woody: What Kind Of Fool Am I (this turned into an audience participation)
Gil and Noel: Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better
Gil: I Feel Pretty (which Noel translated into Klingon)
