Niles will be evicted unless he can find a good reason to stay.

Niles decides to hold a party for the board and hires Daphne to help him with the food. On the night of the party Baby eats some food and dies, so Niles throws all the food away. He then finds out that the food was safe and that Baby died after eating one of Daphne's earrings that has fallen off.

Now there is no food for the party, so whilst Daphne and Niles get some more Frasier keeps the guests busy by playing "Murder In The Dark". The head of the tenants board, Mr Probst, is on it and then "murders" Roz. Then he dies - really. Frasier, Roz and Martin have to try and get the police and ambulance in and get Mr Probst out before anyone realises and spoils Niles' chance of staying home…..
