Skyline: Party balloons float up from behind the skyscrapers.

Plot: The Cranes and Roz are off to a charity auction. Frasier has donated a chance to work behind the scenes of The Dr Frasier Crane Show. At the auction, there is a chance to have a breakfast with 3 Nobel prize geniuses - and whilst Roz is trying to get people to bid higher than Noel at her booth, Frasier and Niles find themselves competing, and parting with a lot of money, for this prize.

At home, Frasier wonders why he and Niles are so competitive, and remember an IQ test they took years ago. Hester never told them the results, just that they were 2 marks apart, and Frasier and Niles decide to find out these results. They find out Hester lied - Niles had 27 more points than Frasier.

Frasier pretends to be glad but deep down is jealous, so the night before the breakfast with the geniuses goes down to the library to study. However Niles is there too. By morning Niles is doped up on pills due to a cold, and the brothers have a fight - just as the geniuses walk in.....
