Upon hearing that Roz needs a babysitter and that Frasier is unavailable, Bulldog volunteers. Against her judgement, Roz decides to hire him.
Bulldog loves Alice and she loves him, and Roz thinks she's finally found the right person to baby-sit. Her big date that night is with Ted, but when he arrives Roz is still getting ready. Bulldog threatens him to leave her alone and he leaves. Bulldog then comforts Roz when she finds out Ted has gone and they have an evening in together.
Some nights later Roz is going out with Steve, and Bulldog does the same thing. However he doesn't know Roz had seen this and she locks him - naked - on her balcony. She eventually lets him back in and he tells her why he did it - because he may still be in love with her.
