Skyline: A crescent moon rises.

Plot: Frasier's show is extending its range - it's now being broadcast in Spokane as well on KQZY! Frasier, Roz and Kenny will be going to Spokane on Monday to broadcast the show there for that one day. When Frasier asks Roz what time he should pick up her and Roger, she says just her because she and Roger have broken up. Roz says she's OK with this.

The day before the broadcast, Frasier goes to a Spokane press conference where he learns that his timeslot used to belong to Spokane radio legend Neil "Sully" Sullivan. When Sully arrives at the conference, Frasier is ignored and he learns that the people of Spokane aren't too happy about Sully being axed in favour of Frasier.

On the show next day, Frasier's callers are all from Spokane - the mountains are preventing Seattle from getting the signal - and they all tell Frasier to "go back to Seattle". Frasier asks Roz to pretend to be a caller, so Roz as "Roberta" calls in saying she's afraid of the dark. When Frasier asks why, "Roberta" says she's so alone, and Frasier manages to help Roz overcome her break-up on the air. The people of Spokane are moved and start to call in with their own problems for Frasier.

Meanwhile Martin, Niles and Daphne try to build a TV table, but Daphne starts to take over and boss everyone around.

Subtitles: Getting Sullied.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Frasier mentions his years in private practise, which may be a reference to his years in Boston.

Trivia: 4 callers this episode, but the first 3 are just credited as "Caller #1/2/3". This is unusual - in the past all callers have had names, even if those names are never mentioned on the show. Roz and Roger break up, which is devastating for poor Roz. Daphne mentions her brothers and how she used to help them build things and there's also an indirect reference to Hester Crane as well.
