Skyline: Fireworks explode over the skyline.

Plot: Roz has started her new job at KPXY but isn't happy there. On her first day, she's found out she has to work nights and weekends, her boss is hitting on her and her assistant is an idiot. Roz deeply regrets leaving KACL over a silly spat with Frasier, and goes to Niles for advice. Niles asks her if she is in love with Frasier, which she denies, and after he sarcastically suggests she just pretend nothing has happened, Roz decides to do just that.

KACL have hired Roz's replacement, Dana, and just as she is about to start her show Roz comes back to KACL and goes to her old booth, giving Frasier a shock. He tries confronting her but she doesn't say why she's back, and Frasier speaks to Niles. He thinks Roz is in love with him - after they slept together, he thinks she must still be suffering (in a pining way!). Frasier doesn't want this to happen with his new relationship with Julia, so he tries to get out of sleeping with her when she comes over for dinner.

Roz arrives, and Julia stays in the kitchen as Roz apologises to Frasier. She isn't in love with him - her dad married another woman 6 months ago and now she isn't as close to him as before. She saw Frasier with Julia and thought the same would happen. The two make up again, but Julia storms out hen she finds out Frasier and Roz had slept together.

Meanwhile Niles discovers he has "slow sperm" and that he might have trouble getting Daphne pregnant. He tries all sorts of methods to increase his fertility, but to his and Daphne's joy they find out she is already pregnant!
