Skyline: Lightning storm.

Plot: Frasier overhears Ronee on the phone - with another man, named Richard. And she's making a date with him. Frasier doesn't want to see Martin get hurt, so after consulting with Niles, he decides to tell Martin what he heard. Unfortunately Martin takes it the wrong way and accuses Frasier of eavesdropping.

Later that day Frasier is at home, and takes a bite of an apple when Martin and Ronee come in. Not being able to tell them he is there, he overhears another conversation. Ronee tells Martin about her date, saying she didn't think they were exclusive to each other. Martin says that is OK, because he is seeing someone else too - Sheila! Frasier is then discovered and Martin accuses him of being a chronic eavesdropper.

Next day everyone is at Cafe Nervosa when Ronee and Richard walk in. Martin lies and says Sheila is on her way over to go to a doo-wop concert Niles managed to get tickets for. Roz enters - and becomes "Sheila" to fool Ronee. However Roz is waiting for her own date, Larry, and when Larry arrives he thinks Martin is Roz's dad and Frasier her brother! All this at the same time as Ronee thinks Martin is dating Roz.....

Later, Frasier finds Ronee's car is unlocked, and sees his moneypin inside it - he lost it when she gave him a lift to work. He gets in - and Martin and Ronee appear. Frasier is forced to listen to another conversation when they talk about their feelings and decide to be exclusive - and then decide to go to a make-out point.....

Roz loves..... Larry, who she met for a date at Cafe Nervosa, but he wasn't so attractive after she found out he was cheap and stingy.

Subtitles: The First Of Sheila.

Trivia: There is a scene where Ronee goes into the back of her car to get a blanket. Not wanting to be discovered, Frasier hands it to her. A very similar scene took place between Frasier and Daphne in Ep 41 "Daphne's Room". Niles gets tickets for the doo-wop concert from Alfred Antin, who will be painting the nursery for Niles and Daphne, but due to the scenes at Cafe Nervosa, he and Daphne end up going. We also learn that Ronee can change the words of any song to match the occasion. Oh, and Frasier tells Niles he "can't unscramble an egg" - a slight reference to the theme song, perhaps?
