![]() GLACIAL ACETIC ACIDDESCRIPTION:
GLACIAL ACETIC ACID (CH3COOH) , The glacial acetic acid is an
active agent in vinegar in a concentration from 4 to 5 %. It is frequently used in food
elaboration to prepare artificial flavors, conservatives, shock absorber of pH, to fit pH,
coagulant, etc. In addition to this features, it is used as a solvent for volatile rubbers,
resins, oils and other substances, as well as in organic syntheses.
APPLICATIONS:
The acetic acid is mainly used in mayonnaise, dressings, sauces, pickles, fish,
meats, vinegar, cheeses, etc.
Another frequent use of this acid is for fitting the necessary acidity
in milk, for the oaxaca cheese type production y
asadero cheese type, , etc.
REASONS FOR ITS USE:
Besides its contribution to the taste and the aroma of foods, it is used to control
different leavening and bacteria species and in smaller degree, of fungi.
Due to this features, its use has been suggested for microbial meat product control.
Its effectiveness increases when reducing pH, since the molecule without
dissociating is the active one..
It is economic and its use is widely known.

WAY OF USE:
One container dissolves in water and it is added directly to the rest of the ingredients.

Turnaround plastic container of 50 Lt.; 200 liter-plastic containers.
STORAGE:
Maintain in a fresh ventilated place. Do not expose to sun light to avoid heating. Maintain package closed while not used. Do not breathe steaming coming from packages. Limit of storage: one year.
