supplies
5 large black garbage bags
black electrical tape
lots of newspaper
black and white construction paper
glue
scissors
How to
1. Cut 4 of the garbage bags in half lengthwise, seal the long cut end with tape, to make 8 long bags open on one end.
2. Stuff the one large uncut garbage bag with crumpled newspaper and seal when full.
3. Half fill each of the 8 long bags with crumpled newspaper, twist half way and tape to make spiders knee joint.
4. Fill rest of long bags to top and seal.
5. Attach the eight legs to the body (the large bag)of the spider using tape.
6. Cut two large white circles of construction paper.
7. Cut two slight smaller black circles of construction paper. Glue the black circles over the white circles to make the eyes.
8. Glue the eyes onto the front of the spider body.

A picture from a magazine or one your child has colored

How to
1. Cut out a picture from a magazine or one your child has colored.
2. Glue it to the lightweight cardboard and trim the cardboard to the size of the picture.
3. Draw lines on the cardboard to make the shape of jigsaw puzzle pieces.
4. Cut out the pieces.

stryophon meat tray (what comes under hamburger)
Cotton balls
pine cones
green paint

How to
1. pull out cotton balls (it is suppose to look like snow) and glue to tray
2. arrange and glue pine cones on tray
3. Paint pine cones with as much or as little green paint as desired
4. place dabs of glue on pine cones cotton and tray add sprinkles to glue
makes a lovely winter scene

baby food jar
construction paper (black, pink, brown )
scissors
white crayon

How to
1. cut a strip of black construction paper the thickness of the baby jar and long enough to encircle the jar
2. glue strip to jar
3. cut a circle approximately 1 inch in diameter
4. use pink construction paper to cut out ears, brown for nose and eyes, glue to circle to make cat face
5. draw mouth and whiskers on face with crayon
6. glue bottom portion of face onto side of jar as close to the top as possible
7. use brown construction paper to cut out feet
8. glue feet to bottom side of jar so the majority of the foot extends out from jar
Presto a kitty cat
Maybe I shouldn't call this a craft and I am definitely encouraging your kids to play with their food!!!!

how to
1. Mix food coloring with milk to make a paste
2. Give your kids the brush and the bread is the canvas and let their imagination go to it.
3. They get to eat their creation when they are done!!!
