8.Cut a strand of hair from a girl's head and

another from a boy's. Place both strands of

hair over a door. If both the boy and the girl

walk under the hairs together, they will marry.

9. If the sun shines while it is raining,turn

over a rock and look carefully under it for a hair.

If you find one, it will be the color of your

future wife or husband.

10.If a girl, when washing dishes or clothes,

gets her dress wet over her stomach, she will

marry a drunk. IF she sings at the table, she

will marry a crazy man. If she picks her nose

at the dinner table, no one will probably

marry her.

12. A girl who stumbles near the top of the

stairway will soon marry, but if she stumbles

near the bottom , she will never marry.

13. IF a girl will hang a horseshoe over her

bedroom door, she will marry the first unmarried

man to walk under it.

14. On Halloween night a girl should take a

comb and mirror and go to a vacant house

to comb her hair. If she will look at her mirror

as she combs she will see the image of her

future husband after her 100th stroke.
