That summer of '67 I bought a horse and she was a wild thing. I had my hands full tameing her and training her. I also went to work as a go-go dancer. I had my own cage to dance in. So there was no fear of being grabbed at as I danced. I had both parents there also to watch after me. I enjoyed it, the dancing and the fact that I didnt have to deal with the men there at the bar where I worked. I got a cold pleasure out of it really, knowing that they couldn't 'touch me ' as I danced my heart out up on stage. I was 15 that summer. The LCB as it was called at
the time never knew I was only 15. They would come in and stay awhile and watch me and then leave. I didn't look 15 years old!! They were told I was 16, which was the legal age that a girl could be in there and dance. It really helped me work out some of the anger of what had happened to me. That and my horse. A local sign painter dubbed me The Golden Goddess. I had a costume that was all gold sequins and with the blonde hair and
I was tall and leggy well ....That was my therapy. It worked some what. I don't hate men.
