Some basic differences between Christianity and Buddhism:

Christians Buddhism
God: God is everywhere and is all powerful. (Psalm 115:3, Matthew 19:26)
God: They deny the existence of a personal God.
Jesus Christ: He is the Son of God, He is God in the flesh, He died to pay the price for our sins. Matthew 14:33, 1 Corinthians 15:3)
Jesus Christ: He was a teacher but was less important than Buddha.
Sin: Sin is anything that is contrary to the will of God. We are dead in our sin without faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23).
Sin: It is anything that hinders ones own progress.
Salvation: Is a free gift from God for all who accept and have faith in His Son and the price He paid for our sins on the cross. (Acts 4:12)
Salvation: Salvation comes from self effort.
