Some basic differences between Christianity and Jehovah's Witnesses:

Christians Jehovah's Witnesses

God: They deny the doctrine of the trinity.
Jesus Christ: Christ is equal with God and is God.(John 1:1; Colossians 2:9)
Jesus Christ: They deny Christ's deity (His equality with God). They say that Christ was God's first created creature.
Immortality: The Bible(the word of God) says that man has an eternal soul.
Immortality: They deny that man has an eternal soul, saying that the soul is not separate from the body.
Atonement: Christ's death has paid the price(atoned) for our sins if we accept Him as our Saviour and Lord.(1 Peter 2:24)
Atonement: Christ's death has opened the door for us to work for our salvation.
Christ's return: Christ will return to earth visibly.
(Revelation 1 : 7; Matthew 24:30)
Christ's return: He returned to earth in 1914 (albeit invisibly) and rules from heaven now.
Hell: There is a place for eternal separation from God and punishment for sin.(Matthew 5:22; Matthew 13:42; Revelation 14:9-11)
Hell: They believe that there is no hell or eternal punishment for sin. If you don't meet Jehovah's standards you are simply annihalated.
