Ephriam was born at home, on the old Jacob Nissley farm near Mt. Joy
and
Florin, Lancaster County. He lived there for his first twelve years,
then his
family moved to Rapho Township, where Ephriam spent the next twelve
years.
Ephriam next moved to a 123 acre farm in Warwick Township, N.W. of
Lititz, inherited by his wife from her grand father Henry Frank.
Ephraim and
Amelia lived and raised their family there for 34 years, then
retired to Lititz
where Ephraim was Director of the Eby Shoe Company, managed by his
twin sons
Harry E. and Frank E. Eby.
