Unless one can bring proof that pre-fitted Islamic calendar is compliant with Shariah no one has the authority to change that. Unfortunately some self proclaimed scholars of Calendar will make you believe that one weekday will have only one date which is what the Julian and Gregorian basis was. This the fundamental principle of non Islamic calendar. Unfortunately many want to introduce this in Islam.

Crescent visibility is not calculatable but is only predictable and this goes in with the order of the Quran to fast when you sight the moon, hence the necessity to physically see it for fasting and Hajj to start hence the forbidding of a pre-fitted global calendar. The aim to produce a globally valid calendar cannot be a reason to destroy Islamic Shariah law which is what some self proclaimed scholars of calendars who neither know principles of calendar nor know Islamic law nor know mathematics but are experts at conning people..........Brother

Assalamulaikum

It is too much that can be affording a person like me. I am not very much educated like you. But what ever knowledge with me given by Allah, most of them I am using for His wish. Above said your statement could not be admit even a school child who is having a sense of his date of birth even he is from any community like Chinese, Indian, Jew or Christian and Arab because they are having their own calendar in different methods but they have followed basic rules of a calendar. Your concept of Islamic Calendar is against the rules of calendar and it may not call a calendar. Your statement is utterly provocative to whom he is having a scientific sense of Islam.

Islam is not only started from Mohammed Mustafa Salallahu Alaihivassalam but also it is from Adam Alahissalam. The calendar was introduced only by the prophets through Allah’s books to the mankind because it is a must for their day to day affairs in life time. Prophets are sent to purify the mankind in all means. It is not the work of Gregory or Julian.

Now you think how the moon aspects in our daily life. I try to describe a few things with my little knowledge.

1) If an asthma patient knows the moon phases he can take precaution to his severe condition in the day of conjunction or full moon.

2) A wood merchant should have to know the same because the percentage of water in the tree can be reduce when he cut it if he knows the daily phases of moon and he can plan which is best day and time to cut the tree. The life of timber depends % of water contains in the wood.

3) A sand man (who is uploading the sand or mud from the river) work depends to the position of tides and it correspond to the moon. So he wants to know the daily angular distance of the moon to prepare his work schedule. But he is not using any optical or un optical aid to know the thing. It does not matter the sky is clouded or not. Like so many things are there which unknown but aspect to us directly and indirectly. The scholars do not know these things who were living only in the books to repeat what it was written in it.

This is what the general meaning of dates for mankind which is mentioned in the Aaya 2:189. Allah wants to teach us the habits of observation to the truthful nature of his creation through the day and nights and its dates corresponds the sun and moon. But the scholars of modern era, they introduce the natural calendar as a custom like in other religion for ex: The door of the temple in Shabarimala opens when they saw Makara Vilaku which is a fire seems in the forest mountain on the date of Makaram 1^st.(A month of Malayalam Calendar). In fact Some Adivasi tribes lives in mountain celebrate in the first day of Makara and they make big fire as the part of their celebration. But the people in Shabarimala want to see the fire in mountain very far away to open the door of

the temple. Now the Adivasis not celebrating but the temple authority posted guards hidden to make a fire in the mountain in time to make the belief to the people and it explains as a power of Ayyapa. The Authority kept the people far from the fire and not allowing finding out the truth.

When I read your quote of Albiruni suddenly it strike in my mind that Jews where posted the guards in mountains to make fire when they see the crescent. This is the way creating excessive custom in the religion. The next generation will think the mountain fire is the sign to start of a month. Time being it is departing from the scientific manner of date Observation which is corresponds to the moon and sun

Now some scholars introduced the lunar datelines and they want to sell their useless software to poor Muslims. The majority of educated people will think this is true if nobody counter it because the people don’t have time to enquire the truth. If any body tries to find out the truth, who will ask to whom?

Now you have seen the program of Paul Carlisle, how beautifully he has explained the history of his moon calendar. If he wants to sell it commercially he can introduce it another way and it can be marketed easily. But he is having good mind of a real teacher.

I wondered how cans a man like you to say that physical visibility of moon is the start of month and repeating often the Qur’an ayah which was discussed so many times in the conversation. I have asked you that if any body did not see the crescent he doesn’t have to take fasting? I thought many time no need to reply to your repeats. But I am afraid of Allah because he has given me knowledge to work in his path even I have inability in language to explain the things which is coming in my mind.

Any how I am very thankful to you because of this debate. In fact it is preparing me to learn and defend from any aspect Insha Allah. Actually the problem makers were set back to their caves but you are still in the warfront. Now I remember a story of scholar and student. The scholar advised his student that if you have strong belief you can walk over the water. One day they together reached in front of a river. They want to pass the river but there were not found a boat or any other way. So the student asked simply his teacher for a walk over the river and they started walking. But when they reached in the middle the scholar get panic at the same time he is sunk and the student walked away simply. This is the situation between you and your scholars. I appreciate you.

They are making all confusions and did not answer any of the questions from the people. They simply hided and they want to remove their ID’s from the mailing list. They don’t want hear even any comments against their confused methodology.

Recently I brought a book of P.O. Ummer farook it is called Month birth in Sunnah and Science (Malayalam). Fortunately he did not mention “in Quran” in the title. It has written almost 180 pages. But for what? The common Muslims suffering very much because of the different days of Eid and fasting even it is Islamic Shariya or non Islamic. Now religion divided as political parties by the scholars and they became leaders and each of them needs some people to prove their leadership.

Mr. Farook is advocating the same thing which was followed by the people since so many years with simply hearing their scholars. But that time there was an excuse in lack of communication. But now nobody can escape from the question of Allah even a person did not know to write or read and calculate in this era because the things are clearly visible in front of him even he do not attend it.

Now you study the matter Eid ul Azha in kerala. The scholars unite against the truth, if there was no leaders to confuse the people, the common people will celebrate Eid according to Saudi Arabia. What is the sin if they follow the Day of Makah? The same things are happens in the west. Some scholars wanted to be leaders, so they computerized all confusions because most of the people are in front of the computer.
