The First 'Evolvement' exhibition in 1996 paid homage to
two core aids in the development of modern day communication:
WIRE and PRINT
Each of these inventions created shifts in Power Balancing and moulded today's world.
The 1996 Evolvement was shared Worldwide as all visitors to the exhibition were 'wired'. Through a mix of co-axial cables and fibre optics, visitors forged new links throughout the World's Net communities
through www cafesurf.co.uk to reach thousands of individuals and groups. All the artworks were tied into the installation using wire from
the very same factory that made one of the the first ever Transatlantic Telecommunications Cables ( Webster & Horsfall ).
a communication tradition birthed in the UK over 275 years ago |

Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance?
................................. an introductory thought from the Authors

o
Will you impose the old 'human discipline' on your home planet Earth or will you design the new one?
Your Earth, the Earth Home, is now quite a mellowed and balanced Planet - well, it supports a lot of life-forms and doesn't spew out magma or crack up our world's cities every single week.
Yet generally, we all live here imbalancing it daily in some way, aiming at ever greater human control.
"Is it this generation's actions; was it our parents or grandparents?" ... 'whatever'; humans (most long dead) have been on this same rocky road for ages, but for
you and this site's authors, what we've got around us today is OUR STARTING POINT ... 'inherited rock home - madrepora, third from the sun'. Changes are commonly gradual and often slow because each new generation's frame of reference is the immediate past, which seldom looks too
bad. But to really know if things are getting bad on this home we need to look at what we've got, what "they" did to what they had and what we 'need' to do for those to come. |

|
Don't make the 'PAST' a rigid template for your future. |

o "It won't get us all too far by clinging onto any past for the sake of it.
We need an interactive fast turn over in ideologies to keep up with today's advances in everything from genetics to communication technologies. Can we do it ? YES we can!
Tomlinson and Jesse support the need for new thinking methods and the rebirth of liveware. They promote the termination of stagnant thought. They accept their personal part in World tutelage. They also like the way traditional fresh broken bread, once enshrined in plastic and held within a warm humid cupboard
grows the colours of fresh new picturesque life amidst the rot of the baker's moulded form.
Following the "Nine Tenets -third evolvement
" these developing *Images and Text forms need turning like a burger or pancake, digesting like a nut roast or french fries and defecating
like every other creatures' out pourings into the mire which feeds the deep and rich new tomorrows."
