MEETING NEW TENNIS PARTNERS - Our club does NOT distribute your contact info to other members. That's always up to you at your discretion. For your new Tennis Partners to contact you and set up matches, please bring plenty of business cards, contact info sheets, or just pens and paper with your contact information. Some members have found it helpful to make up little computer forms of contact info including playing level, games you like and the best times you are available.
We are very fortunate to have the Gerrino's management allowing us host our kickoff event at their venue and providing us such a reasonable value, beautiful venue, and great service.
Our private event is held - Outdoors under the stars on their Rooftop Terrace - 3rd Floor - Event is on RAIN or SHINE - In case of poor weather we will move indoors to their 2nd floor party room.
LOCATION - Corner of River and First Streets, just off the PATH train across from the Sinatra Post Office & First Union Bank.
The $20 Cash payment line will be forming for payment downstairs at the ground level first level coat room.
Please be patient as Gerrinos processes payments and your guest name tags. We encourage you to please get there early to avoid the payment lines.
Your Name Tags are Essential & Mandatory show you fully paid at the door downstairs and to meet other tennis players. So we ask you, please wear them on your shirt. They will also help you with level matching with other players.
Gerrino is providing Two Hours of Unlimited Dinner & Drink - Wine, Beer & Soda - Dinner - Pastas & Salad
COME EARLY - We are strongly encourage everyone to come as early as possible to avoid any long lines while you're waiting to pay. People will be their starting around 6:30pm
SKYBAR Favorites of 1/2 priced Martinis - ALL NIGHT LONG and half price mixed drinks. The CASH BAR for All mixed drinks available in addition to the event base fees.
There will be NO Tennis Playing at this event. It's a social event to KickOff the Tennis season and help you set up your tennis matches with new potential partners.
FEES - The Gerrino's extraordinarily reasonable fee for a Private Party Room of $20, breaks down to approximately $16 for Food & Drink, $1 Sales Tax and $3 Tip for the Waiters, Bartenders and Busboys. It all goes to Gerrinos - Remember the HTC Hoboken Tennis Club is an all volunteer tennis community organization and none of the HTC coordinators never profit from the events. The only thing we ask you to personally give to our tennis community volunteer event coordinators, is your co-operation, appreciation and thanks, because it only helps make all our events even better.

Events Notice * - We would please ask ALL participants
to assist with our group events. The more you help, the more fun our
events will be. Guests welcomed, the more, the merrier.
HTC - Hoboken Tennis Club is area community based All Volunteer Members sports interest association. HTC compliments and supports other Hoboken Area sports, social and community groups. All HTC event organizers donate their time and pay for their own participation fees in all events. Any group event fees that participants pay just cover the court rental fees and equipment costs. You are just paying your own way or your fair share of your own participation costs. Much like paying for your own dinner. Our volunteer group's individual event organizers make zero dollars, it's all volunteer and their time is donated.
Event Pre-payments are requested for fully confirmed guaranteed reserved player spots and are only requested so other tennis players aren't stuck with court costs, for no shows.
