Welcome students, to Hogwarts...
HERBOLOGY Welcome to Herbology, class. I'm Professor Sprout. I'm terribly sorry for the extended delay. Family crisis and all. But I'm back now, and we have much work to do. So let's get to work. There is a family of plants called the Burbleslurp. It was named by a Muggle trying to look like a wizard, therefore the name has nothing to do with the plant's capabilities. The Burbleslurp looks normal in the spring - green stems and long, thin leaves. Its blossoms are pale pink, like those of a cherry tree. However, in the summer, it does not produce fruit, but a series of purple spherical "things" on the stems. They are of all sizes, but each one is perfectly round and contains a large amount of a clear liquid. This liquid has many healing capabilities. For example, it can rejoin bones, undo cuts and scrapes, ASSIGNMENT: Determine why a Burbleslurp plant can heal in the ways it does. Use your creative abilities - try to figure it out based on the type of liquid it contains. (5 points) Use your creative sense and tell me, in two paragraphs or less, why this certain Muggle scientist named this plant the Burbleslurp. Have fun with it - it's not a formal sort of project. Think of every possible answer, put it into some form of order, and send the whole thing to hufflepuffhead@hotmail.com. The last part is worth 10 pts.
