Class, now that we have finished on our unit of Truth potions, we will be moving on to more unusual potions. The first in our unit is the Neoficus Potion. This potion, when taken, makes the the person who takes it glow the color of the food colouring, and resemble a Neon sign. Hence the name.

Concauct the potion as follows: First bring your water to a boil in your cauldron. Then add the plastic bits. These are counterpart of the Neon sign's plastic base. Secondly, add the ordinary sand. Most people know that sand, when melted, turns to glass. The glass will represent the glass tubes that the actual Neon sign holds its glow. Last, add the Liquid Helium and food colouring. Let sit for thirty minutes. Once it has been allowed to sit, take out your wand and direct a red spark directly into the cauldron. Stand back to ensure that the scalding liquid does not splatter onto you. The sparks represent the electricity Neon signs use. After you have added the sparks, extinguish the fire from under your cauldron and let the potion cool.

This potion is another potion to be taken orally. Most potions are. We will test the potions in class, and whosever has the greatest effect will receive five points for their house.
