Fremont, Ohio Sandusky County DHS case worker Jackie Hamann has denied me visitation with my grandchildren in Fremont, Ohio until I sign the "agreement" below. I have always abided by the verbal rules when I have visited Harriett and Sarah- I have not discussed their mother, Amy Wheeler Hughes, nor the case in front of or within earshot of them. Jackie Hamann called me Friday, August 31, 2000 and told me that she would like me to sign an "agreement" about visitation. When I asked her what this was about, she said that the agreement was about what can't be said and presents to my grandchildren. I told Jackie that I had never violated those rules- to which she quickly agreed- so I told her to sent the paper for me to sign. I thought that this was an "agreement" that anyone who visited Sarah and Harriett had to sign. Then the "agreement" reached my house Tuesday, September 5, 2000. I read it quickly, thinking that Jackie certainly did repeat the same things in numbers 1-5. Number 6 was fine as my presents have always been well received.

Then I got to number 7- "Nothing about the children, the case or the parents' will be placed on any medium to which the children have access." THEN I KNEW "WHY" JACKIE HAMANN SENT ME THE "AGREEMENT" TO SIGN. The "medium" is this web page. Amy Wheeler Hughes and Jackie Hamann want it down. Amy Wheeler Hughes filed in Chemung County Court against me on January 22, 2000 regarding my ability to voice my opinions and concerns publicly and Amy Wheeler Hughes lost in a decision made by Family Court Judge Hayden dated May 19, 2000. Judge Hayden, in his decision, "ORDERED that respondent Sylvia Tomlinson's oral motion to dismiss the family offense petition filed under Docket No. 0-0358-00 is granted and the petition is dismissed."

Amy Wheeler Hughes also has a "Gag"Order" against her from the Sandusky County Fremont, Ohio Court. I do not have a "Gag Order" against me and I am not a party to this case in a New York nor Ohio Court. Jackie Hamann is holding me "hostage," denying me visitation with my grandchildren, in violation of my Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press Amendment Rights. Jackie Hamann is attempting to impose a "Gag Order" against me illegally. Jackie Hamann does not have the right nor the authority to give me an ultimatum based on my rights of free press and speech.

This "agreement" is also between "Sylvia Tomlinson, Sarah and Harriett Hughes." Sarah nor Harriett never spoke to me about this "agreement", they are obviously not expected to sign it, and my 14-year old granddaughter, Sarah, would be very upset if she knew Jackie Hamann was holding this "agreement" over my head. Sarah spoke to me several times at length on the phone during October 1999-January 2000. Sarah begged me to send her poster and her letters to everyone I could because she did not want her mother to be able to abuse her any longer. Sarah and I discussed the "mediums" through which to send out her information to the public. Sarah Hughes will not freely and of her own volition, agree to this "agreement" nor will Sarah expect me to sign it. I will not let my grandchildren down and I will continue to inform the public and officials of Sarah's fight and pray that someone listens and helps my grandchildren.

I love my grandchildren. I miss my grandchildren. I want to visit my grandchildren. My heart is breaking. But the issue here is years of abuse by Amy Wheeler Hughes and stopping it from happening again. Sarah: if you read this web page and come to this section, I want you to know that I still and always will love you and Harriett deeper than the deepest ocean and higher than the highest mountain. I will do whatever I have to do, to help you. I am your grandmother and I have held you too many times and listened to you as you have told me what your mother has done. I have seen the bruises, I have taken the pictures. I will not back down, Sarah.
