Where to file your Documentation

After checking the arrival of your container from the shipping lines or from the search facility provided on the site, you should submit the information regarding your imports on a Cargo Declaration Form which is to be submitted at the Service Center managed by M/s CMC. In case of imports of goods (i) purchased on high seas sales basis (ii)   exempted under 100% EOU schemes (iii)   exempted under Notification No.32/97 (Job work) , a separate Cargo Declaration is to be filed and the bonds and bank guarantees should be registered. You would be required to pay nominal service charges for getting your declaration keyed into the computer system.

Please read the guidelines provided on the declaration form page so as to ensure that you have provided all the information required for correct Electronic processing of your documentation.

 After the submission of the information, you would be provided a check list printout by the Service Centre and you can verify that no information has been omitted or wrongly entered at the time of data entry. Thereafter, the Bill of Entry number is generated by system which is endorsed on the final check list. The cargo declaration is then transferred to the assessing officer in the groups electronically.

Importers may be ensure that adequate precautions is taken to submit the correct information since frequent amendments is a relevant factor in evaluation of the percentage of examination to be undertaken on your consignment.

It may be noted that the Original documents are to be submitted only at the stage of examination.

For Baggage under Transfer of Residence

You should file your Baggage Declaration in the prescribed Baggage Declaration Form at the Import Shed. You should present the documents along with the Packing List, Bill of Lading, copy of the passport, delivery order after your container has been shifted to the examination area.

 We ensure that the Customs processing is completed within a few hours of presentation of the consignment for examination. After the examination and assessment of your baggage you can pay the duty at the PNB Extension counter situated in the Concor administrative building and take delivery of the baggage.
