Now just to give you a feel of popular music (you must be remembering that it comes in third cetagory (refer:
General Info)) I am giving one very popular song of Gopal Babu Goswami. I think it will help Janki and devesh to complete their "Adhey Adhoorey" songs. Before going into the song and its explanation let me tell you something different . The economy of "Pahad" is said to be money-order economy. This is due to the fact that most of the men from the pahad work in Pardesh (read plain areas like Delhi, Lucknow etc). The another main profession of those people is Army . There are lot many people in army from Pahad . You must be having the memories of Late Shree B.C.Joshi ,from Almora,who was army chief for some period of time .When men go to army they have to leave their family . So the wife remains alone in a remote village ,does all the house-hold chores, starting from early day to night . No one cares or bothers for her feelings, her aloneness, her solitude. In the mean time if war brakes down ..then that alone, poor woman prays for her husband. She can not do any thing ..and she even can not get the right information in her remote village ,due to unavailability of the communication mediums. So this was the background ...Now the song , sungung by Gopal Baboo Goswami... Mat bol kyon ki mujhey achha nahee lagta. teri awaj sunkey mera man udas ho jata hai kyon ki merey swamee (pati) barfeeley ladakh main yudhha kar rahey hain,mujhey unki chinta sata rahee hai.
