Photo List

Follows is a list of all of the photo cards I possess scans of that Robert sent home during World War I.  I've marked which have handwritten comments on the reverse.  The number sequence represents the order I found them in the album and likely has little to do with actual chronology.  Gaps in the sequence represent photos from a source other than Robert or items of a completely personal nature (Birthday or Christmas cards, for example, that have nothing whatsoever to do with the war or Robert's service).  Many of the photos have no comments attached.  I suspect most of them accompanied letters which no longer exist.

There are a few photos in here that I don't think were sent by Robert, but that do relate to World War I.  Sam Hill, shown in a couple of these photos, is Robert's brother-in-law by his wife Grace and also lived in Kingston, Ontario before the war.  The Dartford and area photos, I think, were gathered by Grace during her visit to England during the war (Dartford is Robert's home town).

I'll gladly post or e-mail a copy of any of these.  Most are scanned at 200dpi, though a few - mainly those featuring people of the hospital - I've scanned at 600dpi as well.  I've had to pass the album back to its owner, but can get access again if necessary to rescan any images.
