06/09/08: In principle, Magüi is not expected to return to playing professional tennis, at least in the short term, due to her continuing studies at university. That is why I have made the decision to close this website. I started in in the year 2000 to follow the tournaments in which Magüi was taking part to inform as best as possible her progress in matches and record her scores. So now the website is closed. But the contents that I have built up over the years will still be available, but no longer updated. If in the future Magüi decides to make a return to the professional arena, this website will be reopened and updated. I wish to thank Magüi for her assistance with this website, and also, would like to thank all the fans that have visited, contributed to, or have helped with written suggestions for the website over the years. All your input in one way or another has encouraged me to carry on with the site. I want to wish Magüi all the best in the next stage of her life and hope that she will always remember the support and affection received from her fans. And it seems that Magüi may be in Madrid next weekend, as a fan herself, to attend the Fed Cup final with Spain against Russia. It has been a great experience for me to create and run this website in tribute of Magüi. It has enabled me to get to know many people, some of them becoming very important in my life. SO ONCE AGAIN, MANY THANKS TO ALL YOU MAGÜI FANS OUT THERE.

17/02/08: There are no confirmed tournaments for Magüi yet. In principle, it's not clear whether she is going to play again or not. When I have news about it, I will write it here.

11/05/07: There has been a change in the last moment and Magüi won't finally play the tournament in Gran Canaria, as it was scheduled, so we'll have to wait a little bit more to see her in action again. When it's confirmed what tournaments she'll play, I'll write it here.

27/04/07: Magüi will finally play the $25,000 tournament in Gran Canaria (on clay) the week of the 14th of May. Let's see if things go well for her. ¡¡VAMOS!!.

12/03/07: Magüi continues training hard and preparing to play tournaments again soon. In principle, she is expected to start her season on the week of the 14th of May, at the tournament of $25,000 of Gran Canaria, which is played at the club where she trains, on clay.

21/01/07: Magüi is in the middle of her pre-season, training hard to be able to compete soon. There aren't tournaments confirmed yet, but in principle her return won't be until March, and she'll start playing small tournaments in Spain.
