This month was mostly about finishing up the framing. Here's the house with the walls sheared and the roof sheathed.
The roof sheathing has a special thermal shield coating on the underside to cut down on heat build-up in the attic. We can already feel the difference between standing under the sheathed roof and out in the sun.
An old college buddy of mine stopped by for a visit (say hi Fritz!) and gives the house his stamp of approval.
After the framing was done, the roof was papered and the sheet metal folks started on the flashing and vents. Here's a close-up of the front entrance.
