RULES AND JUDGING CRITERIA FOR THE 2002-2003 MassJCL CHAPTER NEWSLETTER CONTEST

RULES:
- The Chapter Newsletter should be the worrk of the chapter's JCL members, not a teacher or non-JCL members.

- On every issue, the name of the Newsleettter's eidtor(s) and any other staff should appear somewhere in the Newsletter. Every issue should have a title.

- Additional points will be awarded to aanny chapter who submits news tidbits for the Forum Factorum to the MassJCL Editor before the given deadline for each issue. Bonus points will also be awarded to any chapter who sends a copy of their newsletter to the MassJCL editor throughout the year.

- All issues will be judged as one unit..


Judging Criteria Points
1. Design 25 Pts.
2. Visual Appeal25 Pts.
3. Coverage15 Pts.
4. Chapter Involvement 15 Pts.
5. Creativity of name and layout15 Pts.
6. Spelling and Grammar5 Pts.


Please send 3 copies of at least 5 issues {if your chapter has published 4 or fewer issues send all of your published issues} postmarked by Friday, April 25, 2003 to:
