WEBSITE CONTEST GUILDLINES
The MassJCL Website Contest will be judged during different times during the school year. Sites will be judged using both Internet Explorer version 4 (or higher) and Netscape version 4 (or higher). Any current JCL chapter can enter. The Website must be the sole work of the students in the chapter. N.B. Your website must be on the NJCL Webpage with the different MJCL Chpaters.
Local chapters who are planning to enter in this contest must e-mail Technical Coordinator Amanda Luong telling her so. This e-mail should contain the web address and the webmaster(s) name.

| Coverage: amount of information on chapter organization and activities | 20 |
| Information currency: timeliness of information and frequency of updates | 20* |
Use of Technology: appropriate use of technologies such as dynamic
HTML, client and server-side scripting, database access, etc.

| Accessibility: page download time, link correctness, browser independence | 10 |
| Navigation: ease and intuitiveness of navigation | 10 |
| Spelling and Grammar | 5 |
*In this category, websites will be checked during the months of November, January, March, and May to see whether the site has been updated in anyway. Each check will be worth five points each. If you wish for your site to receive its points, it is important that you send an e-mail to the Technical Coordinator stating that you are entering this contest so she knows to check your site starting with the month of November.
