"Bamboo Shoot and Ground Pork"

Ingredients:
  • 300 g. precooked or canned bamboo shoot
  • 300 g. ground pork
  • 1 tbsp. rice wine
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp. hot bean paste
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 100 cc water

[Bamboo Shoot and Ground Pork]A spicy and different Chinese dish that can light-up any dining table. A simple and inexpensive dish that deserves a try.

Procedure:
  1. Rinse, drain bamboo shoot and set aside. Smash garlic.

  2. Marinade pork with wine and soy sauce for 10 minutes.

  3. Heat 3 tbsps. oil in a wok and saute garlic until fragrant.

  4. Add in hot bean paste, pork, sesame oil, water and sugar. Bring it to a boil.

  5. Add in bamboo shoot and cook until almost dry. Dish up and serve.
