January 29th, 2004 --> The seventh grade Harrold boys' basketball team defeated the Yough Cougars by a score of 60 – 49. Leading scorers for the Spartans included Gabe Phillips with 22 points, Jeff Schleicher with 12 points, and Grant Watkiss with 11 points. Ryan Nedley, Stephen Showman, and Bobby Pushwa also scored points for the Spartans.
January 5th, 2004 --> The seventh grade boys’ basketball team defeated Yough Middle School by a score of 38 – 36. Gabe Phillips, who finished the game with 10 points, scored the game-winning basket with one second left to play. Other Spartans to score include Ryan Nedley with 10 points, Stephen Showman with 8 points, Alec Duschak with 6 points, and Jeff Schleicher with 4 points. The victory marked the first conference win of the season for the Spartans.
December 29th, 2003 --> The 7th grade Harrold basketball team defeated the West Hempfield Spartans at the Franklin Regional Holiday Tournament by a score of 46 - 41. Trailing by five points entering the fourth quarter, the Harrold Spartans fought back to win five. The leading scorer of the game was Gabe Phillips with 22 points, Ryan Nedley added 9 points from the point guard position, and Jeff Schleicher and Stephen Showman both chipped in 4 points.
