Comment: Tuesday 6th November.
The 9.35 number 44 bus Whitley Bay to Newcastle did not turn up again this morning, this left us at the bus stop for an hour. This is becomming a regular event. Can anyone tell us why?.

Comment: The following Information was given to me today 5th November by an elderly resident. She stated she was at the bus stop in Westminster Avenue in time for the 9.55 number 44 bus to Newcastle but it was 11.30 before she got a bus, then two came together. The lady rightly asks why?.

Comment: You will notice I have stated in the Transportnews page that Nexus are holding surgeries in September. This is not an error on my part, it was stated in the Nexus news letter although the news letter did not come out until October. I have made Nexus aware of the error.

Comment: Hiya ladies and Rob (love the logos),
The route assessor is looking good. Maybe we could have a meeting in november to capture more material for the table. A mini- spot monitoring of what happens on one day at one bus stop near the community centre so we can get a cuppa when we feel like it.

cheers margaret

Comment: In the Go with the Times booklet publishes by the Go Ahead bus company in September the reasons given for the re-routing of the number 300 bus. Instead of the bus comming down middle engine lane and on to Norham Road North it now comes from Hadrian Park on to the Coast Road, ommitting Norham Road completely. Reason= to get the people from Hadrian park to North Shields quicker. What about the people from Moor Park? do they now walk to North Sheilds?

Comment: I have just bought a Chronicle (Wed 24th October 5.00pm) and found a small notice on page 6 which measures about 2 x 3ins with information about a transport meeting being held in Wallsend tommorrow 25th between 11.00am and 2.00pm. A bit late is it not to advertise?. This cannot be true consultation, surely.
