Take Him Home to MommaStrength and attitude are a plus in any guy, but what would he be without a heart? If you took home any of these guys, your mother would throw you into their arms. Your curfew would be suspended, you can HAVE the car, you can go as far away as you'd like--mother wouldn't mind, because these guys are IT! The ultimate in nice guys, these Leading Men have the sweetest lines, the best personalities, the kindest...I'm running out of "-est" things that these guys could be, but they're all of it, I guarantee! You never have to teach these guys manners...hell, they're practically perfect in every way! You just gotta love them. If you came in through the Fushigi Yuugi Suzaku no Webring below, please take the time to see the rest of the Leading Men of Anime. Not Quite Standard Disclaimer: ![]() from the series Fushigi Yuugi WhiteCat and Phoenix say: Oh yes, Amiboshi is certainly a sweetie. I found it especially touching the way he felt Suboshi's death and responded to it... :::sniff, sniff::: ![]() from the series Fushigi Yuugi Here we are again, with the hunkiest guy in all the universe--and I'm including EVERY possible "world" out there. If you're ranting--Wah? Chichiri AGAIN?--you'll have to understand. Chichiri is absolutely perfect, and he is on every category page, I'm telling you now. You'll also find him on his own webring. He's not only a powerful seishi that can hold his own with the most powerful of them, but he's also reflective, polite and well-spoken. He never shirks from volunteering because he wants to help, and not just because he knows he's not only one who can get the job done. Can you imagine what would happen if your mother opened the front door on his smiling face? ![]() from the series Fushigi Yuugi Okay--I'm guilty of cradle-snatching once again, but who cares? If you throw in his intellect, Chiriko would be closer to a hundred than thirteen. Studious, soft-spoken and polite, he's the sot of guy my mom probably wishes I hung around with in highschool. Ah, well, too late now. I spent a great deal of the first half of the series wondering what the heck this little kid could do to help, and I must admit I was beginning to doubt he was of any use at all. I was given an answer, though in the worst way possible. This Seishi certainly gave his all to get the Shinzaho! The image is from the Shrine to the Unwanted Seishi ![]() from the series Fushigi Yuugi DeLocke says: Yet another FY seishi among the Leading Men. Someone wrote that the Emperor belonged with these paragons of virtue, but didn't mention why. I have my personal reasons of course--one of them being my sister threatened to toss all my clothes out in the street if I didn't include him! Seriously though, the foremost reason is because he always thinks of the others before himself. He's an emperor after all--he could have stepped in on Tamahome and Miaka and made himself happy, but nooooo. When they didn't get the Shinzaho, his first move was to reassure Miaka. I could go on... ![]() from the series Fushigi Yuugi The healer of the group, he seems to have incredibly bad timing, but that's not his fault. We first see him dishevelled and unshaven, being something of a hermit after the death of his fiancee Shoko. When he turned up the next episode, my friend fell like a rock. We're talking tall, strong and handsome, with just a hint of his personal tragedies lurking in his glance to make you sympathize with him. In the final battle, he gives everything to help out. He doesn't distinguish between "good guys-bad guys"--to Mitsukake, everyone is worthy of his help, and he doesn't let anything get in the way of his helping everyone.
