Out of This World! The guys on this page have only one thing in common: they AREN'T common. I simply HAD to put them in their own category. Please tell me you understand? After all...these guys aren't ordinary human beings--why should they be ranked with them? Not Quite Standard Disclaimer: ![]() from the series Urotsukidoji Lillith says: Don't know much about this series... ![]() from the series Blue Seed LilTigre says: I've seen very little of this anime--okay, to be honest only the two episodes. It's got a really catchy theme song though! Seriously though, the "green haired guy" caught my sister's attention early on. We just haven't gotten around to seeing more of him. ![]() from the OAV Ogreslayer The anime is a dark and brooding look at reality that has the Ogreslayer in the unenviable position of being caught between worlds bound to destroy each other. The ultimate irony, don't you think--that an ogre would be the one to recognize the evil of his kind and be the one fighting to destroy them? This nameless human-like Ogreslayer is a babe, even though he is sort of depressed and rather obssessed by his mission to wipe out the ogre race. By doing that, he is also trying to destroy himself, since he hopes to become human at the end of his quest. The "doomed hero" convention again. I'm a sucker for tragedies like this! Please note: the Ogreslayer is the name of the sword/his horn. As far as I know, he has no name of his own. ![]() from the series Dragonball/Z/GT He was the first character I ever grew to like in Dragonball Z. He started out as Gokou's archenemy, but became a good friend and a sort of surrogate father to Gohan while Gokou was gone. It was his training that turned Gohan into the 12-year old Leading Man he was. He doesn't look like much, I'll grant, but he's a really cool guy. He could give Vegita lessons in being a bad guy. His relations with Gohan showed his more human side, but my favorite memory of him shows him casually blowing up an opponent after he was down. Am I too bloodthirsty or what? Just ignore Gokou beside Piccolo--I haven't found a decent solo yet. ![]() from the series Dragonball Z Suzuku Tendo says: |
