Fairness Tax?
Wednesday, August 1, 2001 12:00 a.m.
There are two things that you can kiss good-bye
forevermake that three, if we include our freedom.
First, the words "tax cut." Second,
the words "Republican President."
Not only will the tax cut be reversed, you
will soon find a communist U.S. government adding to the
income tax with a new "asset tax." And, you
better take some collection item photos of George Bush
since there never will be another Republican President
in this country. If soaring dependency, 75% approval ratings
for felon Clinton at the peak of impeachment hearings,
a Republican wanting to grant citizenship to millions
of illegals, and NOW assemblies replacing American History
time at our public schools does not convince you of that,
then you have already been indoctrinated. There will never,
ever be another Republican President. Look for "Premier"
or "Party Chairman" to be attached to some other
political affiliation to be your future "leader."
The baby boomers will be retiring soon and
with that, so will the funding of the U.S. Government.
The bulk of the revenue our government receives is from
these high-income boomers.
At the same time, the percentage of people
who pay no income taxes at all is soaring faster than
Condit and Clinton's midsection as an intern walks by.
In addition, over half of those who pay taxes pay practically
no taxes at all, considering the laughable 4.8% figure.
This house of cards will come crashing down soon. Revenue
will drop as the boomers retire. Expenses will soar to
fund their social security. At the same time, the birth
rate of those in dependency is far greater than the birth
rate of those who pay taxes and so the march upward in
expenses continues. As the commie attack on "big
oil," "big tobacco," "big drug,"
and anything "big business" continues, stock
prices will be under pressure and capital gains taxes
will decrease.
And then, we have our smiling, corrupt,
commie elected officials in Washington.
As
the graph clearly shows, liberty was written off years
ago. The shaded areas represent periods of recession where
it shows that a slowdown in the economy was not accompanied
by a cut in expenses. There are no adjectives to do justice
to describe the gargantuan cuts companies like JDS Uniphase
and Lucent are executing today. We are talking 50 billion
of write-offs here and 20,000 layoffs there, folks. Most
of the corporate world is executing drastic cuts in expenses
as CEOs adjust to the slowdown. And the U.S. budget during
this slow down? Did the government also cut expenses?
You do not need a graph to tell you that answer, now do
you? Just like previous downturns, expenses continue to
soar even though the economy goes into a dive.
When it comes to government spending, it
is a one way street and that points north. No matter how
much fraud and waste there is, no matter how inefficient
or poorly managed, no matter how much the economy slows,
government expenses will always point in only one direction.
Expenses soar upward. Revenues plunge. Enter
the "government solution."
The commies in Washington will then say
"there isn't enough money." Tom Dasshole or
Hitlery will then say "I know where we can find the
money. Let's put a tax on the value of 401ks, the value
of homes, the value of small businesses, and the value
of private investments. Some states, like Florida, have
an "intangible tax" that is an "asset tax"
in a small way, like one-tenth of one percent of private
investments. Let's do what they do, tax assets, but let's
include homes and retirement money, and let's kick it
up to 5% or more. Besides, the 57 billion we lost at HUD
a few years ago? It is now up to 100 billion lost money.
We need more money! We can get away with it by calling
it "the fairness tax."
Brace yourself, folks. The asset tax is
coming. May I suggest you browse the Internet for some
expatriate havens. After all, we have the 75% ignorant
mass on one end, many who desire to be enslaved as dependents.
Then we have the 20% who could care less about their country
and future generations. And then, we have the 5% freepers,
dreamers, and hopeless freedom lovers who somehow believe
all will be well some day as liberty miraculously appears
out of the heavens. Many of these otherwise 5% proud Americans
love their country but fail to hold Republicans accountable
for surrendering to socialism. Just go to freerepublic.com
and read some of the defenses put up by Bush loyalists.
That web site at one time stood for conservative prinicples.
Now, you have the principles trashed and the site is nothing
but an apologist site for Bush. Tragically, many Republicans
focus more on cheer leading for Republicans and are blind
to the leap to the left undertaken by Bush. Just because
the scumbag Clinton is not in the White House should be
no reason to excuse the leftist leanings and wasteful
spending of the Bush camp.
That just about totals 100%, doesn't it?
You can not even scrape together 56 freedom fighters willing
to lead the charge to reclaim our freedom. Their souls
are resting now. They will not come back for an encore.
Memo to Benjamin Franklin re your comment
"A Republic, if you can keep it":
No, we can not keep it. The country does
not want freedom. A taxing slave state is desired by the
majority.
