Kill the God!

"It has been pending for long time and the delay has been ghastly. So many people have been butchered by the gods (in the name of the religion) since time immemorial that it has become imperative for humankind to extract its revenge. But this not a battle of vengeance, God should have been disbanded from the precincts of the society. Lets agree fellows that the invention of god has been the singularly the most foolish of man’s folly. God had been united by the primal humans as an explanation of occurrences beyond their comprehension, they feared the sea; thus they started worshipping it, they could not understand the sun, so it became another deity. God was to be feared and respected, but with the evolution of man and pursuit of sciences many of these phenomenons have been explained. But yet the idea persists and plagues humanity. The so-referred holy places have only flourished due to the menace that has been invented. God cutting across religion preaches only war and hostility.Many people claim that god is fair but his interpretation is flawed, but incase he is as powerful as the scriptures make us believe, then why is he silent when crusades are being carried, when a country is being razed into stone-age, when planes are being crashed into the towers killing thousands. Why is he a mute spectator, when his name is used to incite the gullible and make them fodders for the despot’s canon. If he exists, then he is a weakling and God `the supreme one’ cannot be weak, thus he isn’t there at all. The idea of god has been perpetrated by mean souls for pillaging mankind, and going by their records across the centuries they have been fantastically successful.What has god provided us anyways, resting in heavens and meting out justice and doling out endowments to prostate worshippers. He is to be feared, to be respected, to be cajoled, and least of to be loved. You cannot contradict him, lest he punishes. He is selfish and interested in the welfare of only who worship him. He is like Plato’s ideals, a flawed one. God has outlived his utility, he is no more needed. Let him rest in peace in his heavens and let us humans carry out our lives without his intervention. Let there be no Shiva, no Allah, no Christ and no one else. Let’s realize that we are on our own in this vast universe and we have to battle for survival in this exacting environment. Even genetics prove that there is no difference between an American and an African. Lets then do away the last vestige that has been divising; god needs to be murdered for the progress of humans. And he can only be killed by indifference, let him know that we need him no longer, our existence is no longer dependent on his benediction. Ignorance is the key; because God is an egoist nothing can hurt him more than indifference. I am not preaching atheism, as rejection of god is acception of his existence. If at all there is a god, let him be there. Let’s not bother about whether he allows us into Eden or boils us in hell; he can extract his revenge when we have left our physical forms but till we don’t let us give him a jolly good reason to do it."
