Indeed he is responsible for Kargil but look from his pov, he was successful and anyways what was the Indian intelligence doing, dozing with a madam ? He came to Agra and stole the show. Musharaff was victorious in the one-to-one bout. Come September, he did not hesitate in ditching his pally in good times, the Taliban. Today is the apple of the eye of Dubya�s eye. Attracting millions of dollars in aid and investment.
Lets then evaluate what has India gained from its unstinted support to Uncle Sam, just cold turkey and sweet nothings. Dubya and Powell have slyly sidetracked India and today India continues to stand where it previously did, in ignomy. Musharaff has turned the whole situation onto its own head, the diplomatic victories of India has come to a nought.

Thus my dear brothers and their(beautiful) sisters of Pakistan, here is what I propose. You want Kashmir, take it but in exchange you will have to give us Musharaff, as the President of India. Wait, don�t jump over it. As a part of the transaction you will have to also accept P.M. Vajpayee with his cabinet and the idiotic opposition too. You will have to accept Laloo Yadav with his 9 children and innumerable cows. Jayalalitha with her 10,000 sarees, Mulayam with his crony Amar Singh. Bal Thackeray and his fanatic machinations. Dear friends you will have to accept them all and then with Musharaff as our leader, we will demand Kashmir back, there will be another Tithwal instead of Kargil.
I know, it is an unfair deal and much costly for you but do undertand that being an Indian. I am biased for the my mother-father-land. Though, I sincerely doubt that you won�t be agreeable to the exchange, but then remember `Hamare paas Agni hain� and if you still doubt our potential `Then ham ne bhi chhudiyaan naheen pahen rakhi hain� or have we, let me check honourable Prime Minister�s wrist first.
