Falling
written by Chrissy and Lisa Rose
Falling...
Falling down...
Oh, what can I do,
But to keep you from hitting the ground...
Out of nowhere you came falling.
Falling out of the sky.
When you fall I will catch you,
If you hit the ground, I will help you up,
If you hit a bump in the road,
I will smooth it out.
You can trust your heart to me
I'll handle it with care.
I'll keep it locked inside of me
And it will never get a tear.
So when you're losing ground and falling,
Somehow I will always be there.
Falling...
Falling down...
Oh, what can I do,
But to keep you from hitting the ground?
Fantasy
The first time I saw you,
Fog covered my eyes.
But you took away uncertainty
And made truth from the lies.
Your words will never
Indefinitely break my heart
And I'll never need a diary
Because you hold all my thoughts,
Even though we're far apart.
I'll stand beside you against the world.
And when the hot tears are streaming endlessly,
There'll be assurance in your smile
And never again will I fear destiny.
But if I do not meet you here,
I'll find you in heaven...
You'll be the perfect, radiant, angel
Carrying around my heart,
And the only true hero, my friend.
Maybe someday I'll speak this to you
As my heart is placed in your hands.
Then heaven will that moment
When I look in your eyes
And finally touch your hand.
Two Types Of Glass
A window that is really a mirror.
I can only look out, but no one can look in.
I'm only living to myself.
I think I'm seeing the world, but I'm only seeing my reflection in the mirror.
The mirror has two faces.
I'm confused. I never know which one it will be.
I'm being ripped apart inside, layer by layer, and he doesn't even know it.
Why aren't I good enough?
What does she have that I don't?
I'm so helpless.
Everything I do is wrong in his eyes.
My heart is being wrung out of all hope.
Twisting and tearing.
Ripping and pulling.
Patience has fled.
I'm eternally bleeding.
His words have shattered my dreams.
Now the shards are cutting me...
Both types of glass.
Short And Sweet
Short and sweet
Is this poem
I'm writing now to you.
But long and deep
Is the love
I'll always have for you.
