I saw vai & keneally performing a couple of days ago. fabulous (and very funny) concert (steve just shouldn't sing and play the guitar at the same time...) and because of some technical difficulties the band was forced to entertain the audience in a different way: a dance contest, steve waltzing with a young lady from the audience, telling a story while sending his voice through his guitar-effects, I even saw him stage-diving at the end of the show - zappa wasn't far away - i guess the band had a good time as well. the sad thing was that mike keneally & beer for dolphins is no longer opening for vai. mike was very present during the vai show, but I'd really have liked to see him with beer for dolphins...
