Bit Bit The smallest unit of information in a digital computer. It has a value of 0 or 1 that represents yes/no and either/or choices. Eight bits are called a byte.
 
Bitmap Bitmap A method of storing graphics information in memory in which a bit is devoted to each pixel.

Byte Byte A fixed number of bits used by the computer to represent an alphabetical character, numerical digit or a special character.
