The Music Industry

A while ago, in the 8th grade, we had to do this year long research like
thing called an I-Search. It was a search on a subject that we were
interested in. We had to find books, magazine articles, newspaper
articles, conduct interviews, do observations, and anything else that
would help us gain a better understanding of the subject. I remember
I hated doing the project. Even though it was on The Music Industry,
a subject that I have a lot of passion for, it was long, stressful,
and tedious. I had procrastinated a bit along the way and the last couple
of weeks before it was due was pretty much hell. The purpose of this
page, however, is not to whine or complain about the tough time I had
doing my I-Search, but rather to share the information I found during
my year of research. This is a slightly edited version of what I turned
in. I hope you find this useful.
