Neil's Next World Tour Contest

Well, you've done your bit for the album charts by buying ten copies of "Try Whistling This", and you just know that Neil's going to have to go on another world tour as soon as he finishes his current one, to play to the adoring masses who are just catching on. You don't want your town to miss out, do you? Well, we know about some of the early tour dates, but the chances are that you're nowhere near most of those places, eh? Are you sick of having your own worthy town bypassed because of some jerk in a record company deciding that Neil really needs to play somewhere where they think that 'Don't Dream It's Over' was penned by Paul Young? Well, don't just stand there, do something about it!!!

For our special second issue, CH Confidential brings you your very own chance to lobby for the inclusion of your town on the itinerary for Neil's next world tour. It's a contest where everyone's a winner! Here's what you have to do:

1) Email us, giving the name and location of your town (latitude and longitude would be nice, but otherwise please include town name, state and country. All submitted towns where the country is not specified will be assumed to be in Uzbekistan). In emailing us, you agree to the following:

a) If Neil Finn plays in my town, I agree to bring myself, my entire extended family, my friends, associates and their extended families, and everyone else that I can possibly think of to the concert.

b) I agree to invite Neil and family in for a home cooked meal (Mongolian goat herders may be excused from this clause.) In addition, I will proudly give the entourage a pre-concert tour of my town, including all relevant war memorials, historical museums, and places of scenic beauty.

2) All entries must be in by July 30th, 1998.

We will then guarantee to put all the entries, in the order received (to be fair), into a proposed tour itinerary, plot them out on the below map of the world, and then email the URL to the Crowded House fan club with a formal request that the itinerary be considered for Neil's next world tour.
