Tzvika Pik, the king of the Israeli pop, has conquered everything except first place in the "Kdam". Tzvika is sure that there is no-one
better than himself to perform in the Eurovision, but life has so far thought otherwise.
In his first try in 1979 he almost won, when he came second with the song "Ein Li Ish Milvadi" (I Have No One Besides Myself). From
then on, a series of humiliations and disappointments were Tzvika's lot.
In the 1982 "Kdam" he came sixth with "Romantica" (Romance),
seventh in 1986 Kdam with "Laila Laila" (Each Night),
fouteenth in 1987 with "Domino" and eighth in his last try in 1993 with the song "Artik Kartiv".
Tzvika's luck got better again just in 1998, when the song had composed for Dana International, Diva, had won the Eurovision Song Contest.
