 As you may have read in the describing page, Planète Indie™ presents each week a record as "album of the week". These records are automatically nominated for the yearly contest.
Choice criteria for nomination are for example :
the record must be a full album;
the support is compact disc;
the record must be recent (same year, or the year before, as stated by the copyright, ...);
the style does not matter : all styles are equal;
and of course, it must be GOOD.

Three excerpts out of it are played during the first part of the show.
At the end of the year, a special show, replaying excerpts from all these albums, is broadcast. So the listeners can recall of the older "albums of the week". They can also vote for their favourite one(s). Either by phone during the show, or by postcard. Maybe in a future edition a vote by internet will be made possible. If they vote by phone, they give one point to each record they want. If the vote is made by postcard, they have to indicate their THREE preferred albums, giving them respectively 5, 3, and 1 point(s).
When the contest is closed, the votes are counted to establish the order.
The winner is allowed to display the logo of the "Planète Indie™ Best Album Of The Year" on its records, web site (with link to Planète Indie™), advertisement, ...
The listeners are not forgotten : to thank them for their contribution, giveaways are randomly offered to them, whatever their voting was.

 Comme vous pouvez l'avoir lu sur la page de description, Planète Indie™ présente chaque semaine un album comme "l'album de la semaine". Ces albums sont automatiquement sélectionnés pour prendre part au concours du meilleur album de l'année.
Les critères de choix pour une nomination sont, entre autres :
il doit s'agir d'un album complet;
le support doit être le disque compact;
il doit être récent (de l'année en cours, ou de l'année précédente, le copyright, ..., faisant foi);
le style n'influence pas le choix : tous les styles sont égaux;
et naturellement, il doit être BON.

Trois extraits sont joués durant la première partie de l'émission.
A la fin de l'année, une émission spéciale, reprenant des extraits de chacun de ces albums, est diffusée. De cette façon, les auditeurs ont l'occasion de réentendre les anciens "albums de la semaine". Ils peuvent aussi voter pour leur(s) préféré(s). Soit par téléphone pendant l'émission, ou par carte postale. Dans une édition ultérieure, il sera peut-être possible de voter via internet. S'ils votent par téléphone, ils donnent un point à chaque album qu'ils désirent. Si le vote est exprimé par carte postale, ils peuvent indiquer les TROIS albums qu'ils préfèrent, leur donnant repectivement 5, 3, et 1 point(s).
Quand le concours est cloturé, on fait le total des votes pour établir le classement.
Le vainqueur est autorisé à afficher le logo du "Meilleur Album de l'Année de Planète Indie™" sur ses pochettes de disque, sur son site web (avec lien vers celui de Planète Indie™), dans sa publicité, ...
Les auditeurs ne sont pas oubliés : pour les remercier de leur contribution, des cadeaux sont offerts par tirage au sort, quelque fut leur vote.
