Hi all,
I have dealt with Michael Preston on several occasions as far back as early 1997. I have never had a problem and found him to be very courteous and honest in his dealings with me (and others might I add). Surely, if ever there has been an issue, then a common respect to courtesy dictates that this issue should be between an individual and the person involved. Not the wider community.
It is my sincere hope that Pin Trading in this country does not degenerate into a us and them, or we and they, or me and him and her situation. Remember the golden rule everyone.... and keep this a fun hobby. My two cents. I welcome responses via e-mail.

G'day All,
I saw that note about Michael Preston and I have been waiting to see if anyone else had problems. We have met Michael and started our Olympic collection from his store, when he was at Chatswood. We had no problems, but as we live in Brisbane it is difficult to
obtain pins, so we deal over the internet. Pin collecting is fun and if some people want to profit from it, good luck to them. But has anyone thought what they are going to do after the Olympics? My wife and I have been collecting for 12 years now and will
be concentrating on the SLC Winter Olympics. Anyway, love this new site, especially the clock, as it is also counting down to our holidays! I don't think we can make it to Sydney before then but Dell and I are looking forward to meeting Mike Yazdani again
and thanking him for the terriffic work he has put in on this site. Of course I reckon his wife deserves a lot of credit too!
Thanks,
Les

As you will have gathered by now I am the other half of one of the opposition and also an ex-Pinworkx employee. I'm surprised that Mike would allow such an offensive letter (dated 11/7/99) from a certain country resident slandering and totally bad-mouthi
g Michael Preston. I actually had the "pleasure" of a telephone conversation with this gentleman (I use the term loosely!) and in fact dispatched the said 400DTG pins to their country destination - the second time 400 DTG pins undertook this particular j
urney - an amazing coincidence that the second lot failed to reach this pin collector or perhaps the postie is an avid collector as well.
As for the non-arrival of the said Pan Pacs pins - well if you begin to be abusive and rude people tend not to want to trade swap sell or do favours for your 10 year old daughter.
On a personal note I think a lot of collectors owe a hell of a lot more than the verbal rubbishing of Michael and David from the Pinworkx, I witnessed on numerous occassions people asking and getting up to date advice on which pins to collect, what they'r
worth and organising trades and purchases, they did it because they loved it and not for the back stabbing slanderous crap that has gone on since their departure from the Pinworkx.
