The
Tasty Joy Recording Company's©
mainframe computer has been busy
generating revisions of this web site.
This has involved complex calculations,
numerous algorithms, and sophisticated
spell checking programs. No less would be
expected at the turn of the millennium.
Please enjoy the many features redesigned
for 2001. These include: more rounded,
aerodynamic corners; "Guest Links" to
connect you with your favorite Guest
spin-offs with less maneuvering; and an
all-new separate "Guest News" page. Old

Old News:
Mike
B. claims that his Uninvited Guest
tribute band, known as Uninvited
Guest-lemania, is the true heir to the
Uninvited Guest name and that
Chris's extravagant productions usurp the
true tradition. Dave L. states neither
Mike B.'s Uninvited Guest-lemania
nor Chris' Uninvited Guest Revival
Band have the pedigree of his project,
the Reinvited Guests. Bob, in a
stern statement, dismissed the claims of
the other former Guests and used
the opportunity to promote his band The
Uninvited Experience. Bob's brother
Larry was disappointed that he was not
"invited" to join The Uninvited
Experience but has directed his energy
toward his own tribute, An Uninvited
Journey, which combines the best of
the early Uninvited Guests with the
best of Steve Perry's Journey into
a dinner theater extravaganza which
includes the powerful medley of
"Faithfully/Velvet Shine". Michael R. and
Mikey W. both refused to comment on the
situation. There is an unsubstantiated
rumor that a local Reverend has offered to
mediate the dispute. According to the
rumor, the Reverend stated that he was
offering his help "so that this wonderful
band who hath created so much musical
harmony and joy, playing their music
together, in times of plenty and in times
of strife, in happiness and in sorrow,
could once again create, together, the
beautiful music of friendship." He is
rumored to have paused and added, "The
world would only be a better place with
these young men unified unanimously in
unity rather than continuing to dwell in
the disharmonious disunity of
division." Other
Old News:
Cincinnati
neighborhoods are competing for the
opportunity to host The Uninvited
Guests' convention in September 2004.
Front runners include Clifton and Price
Hill. Norwood and Lindenwald proponents
say "don't count us out yet!" Plans for a
special guest appearance by rock legend
Chris "The Gooch" Comer are currently
being worked out. However, snags with Mr.
Comer's appearance have arisen concerning
other possibly conflicting events and the
number of available "babes" at the 2004
Convention versus the number of available
"babes" at any other possible event near
the same time. Stay tuned for
updates.
