Alyson Hannigan plays a shy wallflower (Willow Rosenburg) on Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, who becomes Buffy's best friend. In real life, Alyson is a veteran actress who has been performing since she was four. She filmed the Paramount/MTV films feature Dead Man On Campus during the series break. She began her career in Atlanta doing commercials and working steadily in national spots for compainies like McDonald's, Six Flags Amusement Parks and Oreo cookies. When Alyson was 11, she moved to Los Angeles, hoping to be "discovered". Her breakthrough role came when she was cast as Dan Akroyd's misunderstood daughter in My Stepmother Is An Alien. She later guest-starred on several popular TV shows, including Picket Fences, Roseanne and Touched By An Angel. She was often a guest star on the series Almost Home and a series regular on Free Spirit In her free time, Alyson enjoys surfing the web, practising kick-boxing and spending time with her dog and cats. The Washington, D.C. native currently resides in Los Angeles.

*Alyson first saw Seth when her mom and her were driving into the 20th Century Fox studio and he was passing by. Alyson went, "That's the kid from Amazing Stories!" (a series from the 80's that Seth guest-starred in).
