Hayley doesn't see Tito, but he still stands and watches her talking to Lorna.
HAYLEY
I'll do it if you want me to, but I'm still scared about what she's going to think of me.
LORNA
Then leave all of the talking to me, all right? I don't want you to worry.
HAYLEY
I can't help it.
LORNA
You'll be fine. Are you about done here? If you are, we can go talk to her now.
HAYLEY
I'm off--(she looks at her watch)--five minutes ago.
LORNA
Then let's go.
HAYLEY
Okay. Let me just go talk to the night hostess. Ms. Love is with her daughter, so she left me a list of instructions. Why don't you go get Gabrielle settled in her carseat and I'll meet you outside in a couple of minutes?
LORNA
(lifting Gabrielle from Hayley's lap)
All right. (She begins to walk out, then turns around) Hayley. It's going to be okay.
Hayley smiles at her, then turns around. Lorna leaves, passing by Tito. As soon as she's out the door, Tito walks over to Hayley and grabs her by the shoulder.
TITO
What are you doing here?
HAYLEY
(staring at him in amazement)
What am I doing here? I think a better question would be what are YOU doing here?
TITO
(ignoring her question)
You're pregnant.
HAYLEY
Great observation, Sherlock.
TITO
Hayley---
HAYLEY
Don't even, okay? I've got to go. Someone's waiting for me.
TITO
We need to talk. And who was that woman anyway?
HAYLEY
She's my sister, Tito. We really don't have anything to talk about, but if you're insistent on it, I'll meet you in the park later. Two hours.
TITO
Two hours....
His voice trails off as Hayley runs from the restaurant.
TITO
(to himself)
She's pregnant. Oh, God, she's pregnant.
