STATUS: Face.
WRESTLING: Heather is certainly not reluctant to sell. Her grimacing and yelling, along with her small size, makes her a believable squashee. And that has certainly been her role so far. She is strong for her size, and can do the occasional slam or power move.
CHARACTER: The only time Heather was on the mic, to my knowledge, was for two seconds in the Lana Star Christmas episode. She was pretty funny (I was one of very few people who liked that episode.) She has a college degree in Mass Communications or something, so you'd figure she would at least be decent (by which I mean, better than Julie Day). Despite Heather's lack of exposure, she might have the most devoted following of any wrestler on the WOW message board. She comes off as a total sweetheart and has won a lot of people over.
LOOKS: Heather is damn good looking. She has a super-cute face and a real nice, fit body. WOW knows it too, since they put her in super-short shorts and a straining T-shirt, as well as including her in the swimsuit competition. Since they do apparently know it, it really makes you wonder why they haven't used her more.
COMMENTS: It's hard to explain why Heather has gotten so buried. Presumably, if there is a reason at all, it must be because of her wrestling ... it certainly wouldn't be her looks, and she seems articulate. She's not all that bad in the ring though, and anyway, if that's the reason, how come Ice Cold has gotten pushed so much? I can't really explain it.
Admittedly, Heather's gimmick is stupid, but I think she could nonetheless get over as a Terri Gold-type super-goody-goody. Of course, you might ask "do we really need two Terri Golds?", which is a legitimate question. But perhaps Terri could be more of a glamorous "I'm the perpetual WOW champion and a great gymnast, blah blah blah" goody-goody, and Heather could be more of a blue-collar "I'm not a great athlete, but I worked my way up here" goody-goody. We do need to face the fact that right now, Terri and Beckie the Farmer's Daughter are the only faces who have established any reasonable chance to win a match. Someone needs to step up...why not Heather?
