STATUS: Heel. Tag team partners with Ice Cold. Feuding with Lana Star and Patti Pizzazz, although Poison may have switched to Lana's side now.
WRESTLING: She's ok. Right now, Poison's best move by far is her finisher, the "Poison Paralyzer." If she can do that well, you would kind of think she would be able to do the other stuff better. She has steadily improved, though.
CHARACTER: Despite being involved in one of the main storylines, and despite certainly owning a distinctive look, we haven't actually seen all that much to make Poison's character stand out. She seems so far like a tough girl type. She often slaps her butt and tells people to "kiss it". We've been told that she is a "loner." In a WOW-typical clumsy stab at character development, we've also been informed that she was "poisoned as a child." Ooh, deep...She has a cheesy fake "poison" tattoo, and she spits venom at people. WOW has handled that part horrendously, though. Both times she spit venom, the opponent recovered almost immediately. And the first time against Terri Gold, McLane oversold it and made it look even more stupid by yelling "TERRI GOLD HAS BEEN BLINDED!!! SOME SORT OF VENOM!!!!!!" about 90 times...Poison is the "stealth favorite" of Internet WOW fans, putting in a top 4 showing in damn near every category at the WOW-Fan.com awards...By the way, the tag team of Poison and Ice Cold have the worst hometowns in WOW. Poison is from "Toxic Paradise." Ice is from "the Arctic Blast." Ugggghhhh.
LOOKS: She's not packaged to look great. She's interesting looking. She has freaky eyes, and a nice butt, the latter of which helps with the whole "Kiss it" thing. I bet she'd be really good looking if it fit her character to make her look like that.
COMMENTS: Poison is over with the fans, has the beginnings of an interesting character sketched out already, and in sum, deserves to be a top heel. In her brief acting stints, she seems like someone who can get across the WWF-style "attitude" without overdoing it. She could be a legitimately scary baddie if WOW could move beyond the "she was poisoned as a child" level of menace. They need to either make her venom a more feared weapon or drop it, for one thing. Maybe it would be best to drop it for a little while, let her win some matches without it, and then bring it back at a key moment (and have it be effective, for Pete's sake.)

- Poison seemingly turned on Ice Cold, letting her ex-partner get her head shaved.
I have no problem with that part; it wasn't a great team. I do have a problem
with the clear implication that Poison is soon to join Lana's stable. Poison
and Lana were together when WOW began, and it didn't make any sense then either.
Characters like Bronco Billie (can be bought by money)
or Jane Blond (sophisticated) would be far better
choices to team up with Lana than Poison, who really has nothing at all in common
with her. They should just let Poison be on her own for a while and make a name
for herself with some quality wins and mic work.

- Poison squashed Hammerin' Heather Steele, and no
mention was made of her dalliance with Lana. Good signs?
