Due to creative differences between Nameless Xin and I, Gundam Wing: Type Five is no longer in development. I won't go into great detail as to what the issues between us were, but I will say that his designs eventually clashed with my own vision as to how the series should progress.
I will admit readily that a good portion of this is my fault. When Nameless Xin started Type Five, I did not have any desire to write any more on this world I had expanded upon. When my inspiration returned, much of what he was trying to say conflicted with my upcoming works. Many situations that he wished to implement would have drastically affected my future story, and one thing had to give. It was Type Five.
Nameless Xin, if you are reading this, I want to offer my heartfelt apologies. I was not really fair to you, and probably did not offer the direction that was necessary right from the beginning. You have great creative potential, and a keen eye to the human condition. I wish you all the best. |
