Howdy folks! So glad you decided to drop by and get up close n' personal with me. Mommy's the biggest computer hog I know, so I must use the precious moments I have online alone wisely. I really just cannot work with someone breathing down my neck the whole time. So...where should I start? I know, what better way to start than to tell you everything you could have ever possibly wanted to know about me? Here goes:

Me At A Glance...

  • Name: Xator aka 'Simon'

  • Bday: February 20, 1998

  • Weight: it varies, but always over 80lb [I'm REALLY picky about when and what I eat...a dogs gotta have standards you know]

  • Height: 2 feet 3 inches

  • Place of Residence: Proud to be a New York CityDog!

  • Nick Names: Simon (that's mostly what they call me at home. Grandpa dropped the Xator almost right away), Simonsen, Puduppy, Pwecious, my dog/pup, Chims, Monodonsen, Monodonchen (the word 'puppy' can be radomly thrown in anywhere), spanish babble...I'll stop here folks, it gets weirder.

  • My Very Favorite Stuff...

  • Food: cheese! (like mom, the smellier the better)

  • Toy: balls!! (especially tennis balls)

  • Gal: Sa-sa-sa-sasha! (No worries - she's like a sister to me ladies.)

  • Game: Hide & Seek

  • Outdoor activity: tag; chasing water, pigeons, squirrels, cats...

  • Indoor activity: hide & seek, sticking half my body out of mommy's bedroom window...but usually I just lounge

  • Place in the world: the BIG park

  • Place to be petted: chest, ears, belly

  • A Dog of My Many Talents...

  • Natural born stalker - just the other day I discoverd that if I'm real quiet and measure each step I take, I can get really really close to a squirrel! [But mom's kind of a weirdo. If I get 'too' close (is there such a thing?), she actually gets up and chases the squirrel away. Can u believe it?! After I do all that work! The nerve of some people.

  • Seeking - me n' mom play hide & seek all the time. I don't really get the hiding part, so she's really the only one that does it. Mom will put me in some out of the way corner, and I stay until she says 'O.K.' She thinks she can outsmart me by hiding in closets or behind closed doors. [Yes folks, I've even found her sitting in the tub a time or two.] But the nose always knows! Sometimes she hides one of my toys instead, and of course, I never miss a beat with those either.

  • Looking cute - it has to be a curse. I can be all snug and comfy, and OUT OF NOWHERE mom will jump up, rush over to me, and proceed to shower me with hugs and kisses. It gets old.

  • Escape artist - I can get out of any crate mom tries to stick me in! [Of course I only do it when I'm sure she's left the house.] I get into them like a perfect gentleman. All she has to do is open the door and I waltz in like I'm lovin' it. Then the plotting begins. Sure enough, by the time she gets home, I'm waiting for her at the door. I've had a couple of those plastic kennels...'VariKennels' i think mom called them. Piece of cake! I now have one of those 'Midwest' crates...now she's just insulting my intelligence.

  • Some of My Vocabulary...

  • some basics - sit, down, stay, & come
  • shake paw, other paw
  • 'Go over there/to your bed'
  • Stop, no (not my favorite words in the word)
  • 'Is that Sasha?'
  • 'kiss-a mommy'
  • 'Go get your ball/toy'
  • 'OK' - releases me from whatever limitation she has temporarily set on me/my freedom

  • 'Bye' - I follow mommy EVERYWHERE all day everyday. Always especially happy to accompany her on errands. But when I hear her say 'bye' I stop dead in my tracks and give her my best 'take me with you' look as I watch her go.

  • always stop and sit - before crossing the street, before leaving home so mom can hurry up and put my leash on, when we're leaving the park [right before my paws hit the sidewalk]

  • 'Are you begging?' - when I hear this, I get up, walk away and look completely uninterested in whatever yummy treat mommy's having. (But I remain strategically positioned so mommy can have easy access to me were she to change her mind and decide she wants to share)

Wow...mommy's not back yet? I guess I have time to share a little more! Click on the images below to be transported!
